Please help us, and the Birmingham Music Archive build up a “music map” of Birmingham. We’re looking to map anything; bands, singers, musicians, promoters, managers, venues, record shops, music shops, hangouts, anything that has a “place” and that place in in Brum (or nearby).

On the show this week we asked people to help build a composite Birmingham Music Venue — one place for music with all their favourite bits of real Brum venues (still there or closed).
This is what people wanted…
What else should we add?
Want a Big Paws T-shirt? Or maybe it’s cold in your house, or you’re balding, and a hoodie is what you need. Maybe your tea is loose and slopping around the kitchen worktop — a mug will solve that. Or maybe you need to sheathe your genitals in one of our range of undergarments, or perhaps you, er, sorry I’ve no idea what mouse mats are for.
All proceeds, a quid or two quid on each item will go straight to Rhubarb Radio — that’s gotta be great value, where else can you hear hours and hours of quality music and chat without ads AND still be free of the possibility of hearing Chrises Moyles and Evans?
Give me Big Paws merchandise or give me death. There’s Rhubarb Logo ones too
We mentioned it on Saturday’s show, the second [EDIT] radio show in June — that’s Saturday 13th June— as part of Birmingham Music Month — will be a Birmingham Music only special.
Our guest will be Jez from the Birmingham Music Archive and we’re going to pick our favourite Birmingham music gems. But. We’re going to turn half the show over to you — to pick your favourite brum bands and songs.
You can suggest anything you like, but we’ll not be deviating too far from the Big Paws policy of playing brand new tunes and obscure classics — so try and think of something that we and our audience might not have heard before.

I was out at 3:30am on 4/4 to meet up with a load of fools taking photos at 4am:
